Your new role:
As a Guest Operations Specialist at our brand new facility in Glasgow, you will assist in the day-to-day operations of our base, providing exceptional guest experience to all guests and flight crews in line with our Signature Service Programme. This will include carrying out ramp services, offering assistance to crews and liaising with ground handling services. You will also carry out quality checks, bulk fuel vehicles with Jet A1 and deliver Jet A1/Avgas fuel to our guests' aircraft. You will also liaise with guests, providing information relevant to their flight requirements, while ensuring compliance with all requirements and guidelines, and formalities set by authorities. Other duties and tasks for our Guest Operations Specialists include raising and processing invoices, assisting guests and suppliers with invoicing queries and proactively cross-checking invoices to ensure accurate billing. In our VIP lounge/front-of-house area, you’ll ensure refreshment supplies are maintained and uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation in all of our VIP areas and facilities. This is a great opportunity for growing an exciting career in Aviation Hospitality.
About you:
The important bits: You will be a minimum of 18 years of age with the ability to pass company background checks (criminal and motor vehicle), drug tests, meet airport background check requirements to receive and maintain an airport security badge, and be insurable by the Company’s applicable insurance policies. You must hold the right to work in the UK and have a full UK driving licence. You’ll have excellent vision and coordination to move and/or direct aircraft and visually inspect aircraft fuel, with the ability to pass a colour vision test for purposes of inspecting aviation fuel.
In addition: Although full training will be provided on all aspects of the role, you will ideally have proven experience within a related role – front-of-house or ramp side – either within Aviation Services or Hospitality. You’ll have excellent interpersonal skills and enjoy working with people, communicating clearly and professionally at all times. You’ll be adaptable and reliable, with good judgement and high standards of accuracy whilst supporting day-to-day operations. You’ll be comfortable working accurately under pressure in a fast-paced, operational environment, with the ability to stay calm, focused and organised when things get busy.
