Signature TechnicAir Bournemouth Airport is seeking a skilled and dedicated Licensed Engineer to join our team at our base maintenance facility in Bournemouth. You must have a CAA License and the right to work in the UK.
As a global provider of aircraft maintenance, repair, and overhaul, we specialise in small to mid-size, turbine-powered business aircraft. Our EMEA division operates a full service, CAA & EASA certified Part 145 Repair Station at Bournemouth airport.
Your new role:
- Carry out all maintenance tasks to the highest standards in accordance with manufacturer's instructions, company procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Manage and execute scheduled and unscheduled maintenance inputs as the Check Lead.
- Certify aircraft maintenance tasks performed by yourself and non-certifying engineers.
- Ensure maintenance documentation is accurately completed ensuring compliance with regulatory and company standards.
- Liaise with customers, manufacturers support representatives, regulatory authorities’ representatives, company management and company support teams as required.
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills, professionalism, and a positive customer service attitude.
About you:
- You hold a CAA B1 and/or B2 Aircraft Maintenance Engineer License.
- Ideally having Cessna Citation or Embraer Legacy or Phenom type ratings but not essential.
- Business jet experience preferred but not essential.
- You possess a full UK driving license and have the unrestricted ability to travel as needed.
- You demonstrate a strong passion for providing excellent customer service.
- You are adept at planning and prioritising effectively.
- Your communication skills, both written and verbal, are excellent.
- You consistently demonstrate professionalism with a keen sense of diligence and high levels of integrity.
- You are self-motivated and able to work independently without supervision.
- You maintain a positive "can do" attitude and employ problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Collaboration comes naturally to you, and you communicate effectively as part of a team.
- You are adaptable and can positively respond to changing situations and priorities.
- You have exceptional attention to detail and diligently follow instructions to ensure task completion with accuracy.
