Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Sign Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in installing a variety of signage, including vinyl graphics, channel letters, and ADA signs. This role requires precision, technical skill, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Installation of Signage: Install vinyl graphics, channel letters (both raceway-mounted and flush-mounted), ADA-compliant signs, and other types of signage in various environments.
- Vinyl Application: Apply vinyl to vehicles, windows, walls, and other surfaces with precision.
- Electrical Sign Installation: Wire and mount illuminated signs, ensuring proper connections and adherence to electrical codes.
- ADA Sign Compliance: Install ADA-compliant signage in accordance with federal and local regulations.
- Site Preparation & Measurements: Conduct site surveys, take accurate measurements, and prepare surfaces before installation.
- Safety & Equipment Handling: Operate bucket trucks, ladders, power tools, and other necessary equipment safely.
- Maintenance & Repairs: Perform maintenance and repairs on installed signage as needed.
- Customer Interaction: Communicate professionally with clients and team members to ensure high-quality service and satisfaction.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in sign installation or a related field.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in vinyl application, channel letter installation, and ADA sign mounting.
- Electrical Knowledge: Familiarity with wiring for illuminated signage is a plus.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy materials, climb ladders, and work at heights.
- Driver’s License: A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (CDL is a plus).
- Work Ethic: Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work efficiently under deadlines.
- Team Player: Ability to collaborate with coworkers and communicate effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience operating bucket trucks and other heavy equipment.
- Knowledge of local sign installation codes and permitting processes.
- Welding or fabrication experience is a plus.
