About Signapse
Personal Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in QA or test engineering
- Hands-on experience designing and implementing test automation frameworks
- Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
- Familiarity with at least one of: Go, Python, or TypeScript
- A pragmatic approach to knowing when to automate and when not to
- Strong communication skills, whether written, verbal or signed
- Comfortable working in an early-stage environment with ambiguity
- Have a passion for quality and high standards of work produced
Example Responsibilities
- Design, implement and build test automation for Signapse products by:
- Identifying high-impact areas for automation and prioritising ruthlessly
- Building test automation frameworks across our stack (Go APIs, Python AI services, Next.js frontend)
- Integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
- Establishing testing standards and best practices for the engineering team
- Performing exploratory and manual testing where automation isn’t yet practical
- Contributing to discussions on quality, brainstorming solutions and advising on technical risks
- Ensuring monitoring and alerting support quality goals
- Collaborating closely with frontend, backend, and DevOps engineers
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Experience testing real-time or streaming systems
- Familiarity with video/media pipelines
- Experience validating AI/ML model outputs
- Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG, ADA)
- Experience with performance and load testing
- Familiarity with Terraform and cloud infrastructure (AWS)

Hours
This is a full-time position, with normal virtual office hours of 9am to 6pm, although flexibility is offered to suit reasonable personal circumstances. What matters most to us is strong collaboration, meeting agreed milestones and the delivery of high-quality work.
