About The Role
The Business Development Representative is an individual contributor role focused on driving company growth through new business development and lead qualification. Working closely with Marketing and field Sales teams, this position is responsible for converting marketing-qualified leads into sales opportunities and developing new prospects through targeted outbound activities. This is a high-velocity, outbound-focused role for a motivated self-starter who thrives on building relationships, identifying opportunities, and delivering results in a dynamic global environment.
What You Will Do
- Generate and qualify new sales opportunities through both inbound lead management and outbound prospecting activities in assigned territory.
- Convert marketing-qualified leads into sales-qualified opportunities through timely follow-up and effective qualification.
- Conduct outbound calling campaigns and execute multi-channel prospecting strategies — phone, email, and social — to engage potential customers.
- Deliver compelling value propositions and conduct effective discovery calls to identify customer needs and potential opportunities.
- Build relationships with key decision-makers and determine buying readiness, timeline, and next steps.
- Consistently achieve or exceed established activity metrics and opportunity generation quotas.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of Signant Health's products, services, and competitive differentiators.
- Effectively handle objections and align solution capabilities with prospect needs.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all prospect interactions in CRM system.
- Participate in trade shows and industry conferences as required.
- Support additional responsibilities and projects as assigned.
