We are a specialist supplier of railway signals to the UK and overseas markets. Our products are approved by Network Rail, fully compliant with modern signalling standards, and designed to be low maintenance, reliable, and backwards compatible with traditional non-LED systems. In addition to signalling products, Signal House Ltd is an experienced sheet metal fabricator, specialising in Aluminium and Stainless Steel. With in-house CNC, welding, paint, and assembly capabilities, we maintain high quality standards throughout the entire manufacturing process without reliance on subcontracting.
We are currently looking for a Permanent Part-Time Sheet Metal Worker to support our manufacturing operations. This role would suit an experienced individual who can work accurately and independently in a workshop environment.
- Interpreting technical drawings and working from sketches or development work
- Carrying out all aspects of sheet metal work, including: Punching, Folding, Studding and Bushing
- Operating standard workshop equipment (e.g. guillotine)
- Ensuring work meets required quality and productivity standards
- Working with minimal supervision while maintaining a high level of workmanship
Previous experience in sheet metal fabrication
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Ability to weld both MIG and TIG
- Good communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Ability to work independently
