Action Signs (Harrow, London) is seeking a skilled signs & graphics Installer to join our friendly experienced team. We are an all-round sign company though a good proportion of our work is vehicle graphics and construction equipment. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing various products, and ensuring that all installations are completed to the highest standards of quality and safety. This role requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The majority of our work is done locally at our office in Harrow. The Installer will also be expected to provide excellent communication and customer service, ensuring client satisfaction throughout the installation process.
Duties
- Carry out installations of products under company guidelines and safety regulations.
- Read and interpret drawings and specifications to ensure accurate installations.
- Prepare job sites by gathering necessary tools and materials before commencing work.
- Conduct quality checks on completed installations to ensure they meet company standards.
- Communicate effectively with clients to explain the installation process and address any questions or concerns.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working order, reporting any issues as necessary.
- Collaborate with team members to improve installation processes and efficiency.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a similar installation role is preferred.
- Strong understanding of layouts and drawings.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective client interaction.
- A valid driving licence is required for travel to various job sites in company vehicles.
- PASMA, IPAF, and CSCS are preferred but can be incorporated into personal development.
