The Company
We have been producing signage, printing and design solutions to satisfied customers since 1998. In that time we have established a reputation for being efficient, professional and competitive whilst delivering a friendly, personal and proactive service. We deal with some of the UK’s largest and most recognisable brands and organisations. Due to continued success and growth, we are looking to recruit an Artworker / Graphic Designer to join our Studio team.
Skills & Experience
- Must have proficient experience with PC platform
- Must have extensive working knowledge of Adobe CS5+, in particular Illustrator and Photoshop
- Experience in CorelDraw highly advantageous
- Previous experience within signage industry or reprographics highly advantageous
- Have a creative flair, a meticulous attention to detail and excellent proof reading skills
- Have a methodical approach to checking digital files
- Be able to balance and prioritise multiple projects, often under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Excellent client facing skills with the ability to manage and build effective client relationships
- Willingness to work longer hours to meet deadlines
Main Duties and Tasks
- Creation of designs and artwork, from initial concept to final print ready files
- Liaise directly with clients to take briefs, then develop and finalise designs
- Work closely with our in-house production team to achieve and complete projects
- Prepare projects for print production (litho, digital and wide format digital)
- Ability to understand and follow corporate guidelines
- Proof read and check marketing material prior to publication
Position
Full-time position 8am-5pm, with opportunity for overtime. Salary based on experience.
