Job Description
About the Role
To provide BSL interpreting both face to face and remotely, predominately working within the medical sector supporting Mental Health Trusts and organisations. In addition you may be required to work with a broad range of clients in the private and public sector, as well as individual Deaf clients. Opportunity to also work on InterpretersLive! service on pre‑booked and on‑demand assignments. This role will be based in the Manchester/North West area.
Responsibilities
- To undertake face to face interpreting assignments
- To undertake video interpreting assignments
- To deliver high quality BSL/English interpreting services to all clients
- To report to Head Interpreter and Line Manager
- To maintain CPD
- To abide by NRCPD code of conduct
- To work well within the interpreting team
Qualifications
- NRCPD registration RSLI
- Enhanced DBS
- Experience working in mental health settings
- A full driving licence is essential
