Sign Solutions was established in 1998, as leading experts in the provision of interpreting and translation services. We are friendly, professional and offer helpful advice to our clients, the Deaf community and language service professionals. We are a specialist service provider and the only organisation in the UK that offers face to face & remote interpreting, training, communication support, translations and pre-booked/on-demand video interpreting all in one place. We provide face to face interpreting for all sectors across the UK including contracts in medical legal and education. We only work with NRCPD.RBSLI registered British Sign Language interpreters and a range of other communication professionals.

Our innovative InterpretersLive! video relay interpreting service supports organisations across the private and public sectors, to be more accessible, in person (VRI) and via video (VRS). We provide on demand, British Sign Language interpreting directly via mobile app or browser on any device. Deaf people have instant access to public services, appointments and meetings and hearing customers can also call a Deaf person through our service. Our training centre provides qualifications in BSL, Deaf Awareness as well as online CPD courses for British Sign Language interpreters and company employees covering a range of HR and business topics. Our BSL translation service creates bespoke accessible digital content ensuring information is accessible to Deaf people.

This role is to manage a small team and our Interpreterslive! service.

How you’ll make an impact:

  • Develop a solid, trusting and professional relationship with our video clients and Interpreters.
  • Provide technical and other support to Interpreters and clients.
  • Organise resource to deliver our on-demand service effectively and efficiently.
  • Experience in reporting software and informative client MI reporting.
  • Client and contract management.
  • Respond in a timely manner to requests for support from various simultaneous communication channels.
  • Review and reporting service utilisation to plan for resource requirements.
  • Understand and meet the diverse needs of our clients and Interpreters.
  • Oversee platform development relationships/roadmap.
  • Implementation and set up of Interpreterslive! Clients.

Qualifications Experience you’ll bring:

  • Previous experience in an operational role.
  • Willingness to be office based in Redditch.
  • British Sign Language skills (Preferred/not mandatory).
  • Understanding of the platform to provide customer and interpreter support.
  • Excellent communication skills whilst maintaining professional boundaries.
  • Able to multitask, prioritise and manage time/team efficiently.
  • Team player.
  • Strong problem solving capabilities.
  • Experience of Power BI and excel.
  • Resilience in fast paced environment.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.

Salary & Benefits:

  • Salary dependant on experience £30,000 - £35,000.
  • 37.5 hour week Monday - Friday.
  • Work from home Monday and Fridays.
