This role follows a continental shift pattern of 4 days on, 4 days off - and includes an attractive shift premium.
The role:
- To work as part of the Production Team to always maximise efficiencies on an individual basis and collectively as part of a team.
- To produce high quality fabrics, making best use of the materials being run on the multi axial lines, and to be responsible for the health and safety of themselves and others working around them.
Responsibilities:
- To identify the correct material and ensure traceability is maintained at all times and documentation is clear and accurate.
- To operate the multi axial lines in line with training to ensure correct procedures are adhered to.
- To maintain housekeeping of the area, including (but not limited to):
- General housekeeping of the entire equipment and immediate area.
- Fabric checks.
- Ensure machinery is free from FOD and in good working order.
- Visually inspect fabric during production.
- Roll doffing.
- To operate the line as required by area leadership.
- Operate a clean-as-you-go mindset in line with the FOD prevention programme.
- Use the correct cleaning methods as instructed by the trainers and team leader.
- Raise any concerns over fabric quality to the team leader.
