About Your New Job
As the Service Coordinator, you will
- Process bookings for plant service, inspections, and repairs in a fast-paced equipment rental environment, playing a key role in the machinery hire and service department.
- Prioritise and allocate repair tasks to the service team, ensuring efficient operations for plant hire and machinery hire.
- Manage stores and parts requests to support daily depot activities and keep equipment hire running smoothly within Newtownabbey.
- Run routine reports to stay proactive and organized in the Service Coordinator role.
- Follow all service department procedures for equipment rental and plant hire, keeping documentation accurate and compliant.
- Liaise with customers and sales staff regarding plant hire and equipment availability.
- Deliver exceptional customer service on the phone and by email, representing the organization and maintaining the high standards of the equipment rental industry.
- What Skills You Need
- Strong IT and administrative skills, ideally with experience in CRM, ERP systems, and service coordination for equipment hire or machinery hire.
- Energy, resilience, and a drive to provide excellent customer service within the plant hire and machinery hire sector.
