About Your New Job
As the Sales Manager, you will:
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve ambitious company objectives.
- Lead, motivate, and mentor a high-performing sales team, ensuring continuous professional growth.
- Analyse sales performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement and growth.
- Create a positive and supportive team culture, driving collaboration and outstanding results.
- Deliver regular training sessions to raise the standard of sales techniques and product expertise.
- Align sales efforts with overall business goals through effective communication across departments.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to guarantee customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Manage recruitment and onboarding of new sales team members.
What Skills You Need as Sales Manager
- Demonstrable experience in sales management or retail management (essential).
- Inspiring leadership and team development capabilities.
- Strong organisational skills with an ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Effective and persuasive communicator across all levels.
- Background in motor industry sales.
- Familiarity with Dealer Management Systems (DMS) and MS Office suite.
- Experience mentoring staff and CDK Software knowledge is an advantage.
- Full valid Driving Licence (required).
