About Your New Employer
My client, a leading consultancy company is recruiting Actuarial Consultants (Junior and Senior Levels) for specific client projects. The role is permanent and based just twice a month in the office in North West Ireland. The primary purpose of this role is to be the lead technical & actuarial expert across Actuarial Client Services. The senior role holder will play a lead role in projects.
Main Responsibilities include:
- Provide actuarial support to business projects (e.g. regulatory projects, calculation changes) including defining and signing off calculation requirements and testing.
- Contribute to review and validate the liability cash flows.
- Refine existing models and build up tools for Life & Pension reserves and capital for annual statements, capital calculations and management reports.
- Enhance actuarial processes to improve efficiency.
- Collaborate and engage with key stakeholders.
What skills You Need:
- A degree in Actuarial/Mathematics or similar numerate subject.
- 3 years’ experience with at least 4 Actuarial exams passed or 2 years’ experience with more than 7 actuarial exams passed.
- In-depth knowledge of a range of life assurance and pensions product types and charges.
- Strong technical skills with experience in VBA, Python and SQL.
