Outline of role
With assistance from the Project Manager, ensure that, from concept to completion, the pre-development and construction process is effectively, safely and efficiently managed.
Main responsibilities
- Ensure the Sigma PRIDE values are followed
- Ability to deliver through a team making sure they are driving for the best results
- Providing leadership for site staff
- For the adherence to the plan, specification and programme of works
- Review and Implement RAMS
- Prepare progress reports, monitor programmes and sign off quality documents
- Sign Employees timesheets and subcontractors onsite to ensure effective cost tracing
- Ensure that induction is rigorously carried out and records completed
- Identify causes of nonconformance on site, instigate action to control and prevent re-occurrence
- Liaise on a day-to-day basis with client and/or their representatives to resolve immediate issues, ensuring their needs are achieved and maintaining a professional approach
- To check maintain and ensure good standards of work and with clean working areas throughout site.
- Any variations or extra works are recorded in detail and discussed with PM and QS
