We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to support our growing project portfolio within the commercial retail sector. You’ll oversee multiple electrical schemes from enquiry to completion, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality delivery.

Main responsibilities:

  • Lead, motivate and oversee electrical project teams to ensure successful delivery.
  • Create detailed scopes of work from briefs, drawings, and specifications.
  • Collaborate with the design team to agree project phasing and ensure accurate planning.
  • Monitor supplier quotations against agreed rates to maintain commercial control.
  • Attend and manage on-site phases of electrical projects, ensuring smooth project flow.
  • Take part in design team meetings, providing technical and project-related input.
  • Carry out detailed site surveys and identify project requirements.
  • Ensure KPIs are completed and reviewed weekly.
  • Take responsibility for maintaining Health & Safety compliance at all times.

Knowledge and skills required:

  • Strong understanding of electrical installation practices, regulations, and commercial environments.
  • Proven experience managing multiple electrical projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and team-management skills.
  • Confident ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Strong organisational, planning, and problem-solving skills.
  • Commercial awareness and ability to monitor costs effectively.
  • A proactive, hands-on approach and the ability to work to tight deadlines.
