Outline of role
We are seeking a dynamic and adaptable professional to join our team based at Head Office, with flexibility to travel to multiple sites on an ad-hoc basis. In this role, you will be the primary contact for all day-to-day Group Recruitment selecting and onboarding top talent to meet the workforce needs for the organisation, you will be responsible for leading and managing the end-to-end recruitment process, ensuring the acquisition of top-tier talent to meet organisational objectives. This pivotal role involves strategic planning, team leadership, and collaboration with various stakeholders to enhance the recruitment function.
Main Responsibilities
Strategic Planning:
- Develop and implement innovative and effective talent acquisition strategies aligned with organisational goals.
- Develop action plans to support Talent growth, identifying skill gaps and learning and development frameworks to grow talent within the group.
- Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and emerging recruitment technologies.
Talent Sourcing:
- Utilise various sourcing techniques such as job boards, social media, networking, and employee referrals to identify potential candidates.
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from screening resumes to conducting interviews and negotiating offers.
Full-Cycle Recruitment:
- Manage all permanent/Fixed Term contract recruitment, from Inception to Completion across the group, including PSL reviews and review commercials quarterly, ensuring cost efficiency.
- Ensure a positive candidate experience by maintaining regular communication and providing constructive feedback.
- Produce monthly board reports – Proficient in utilising recruitment metrics and analytics to drive data-driven decisions.
- Complete onboarding induction programmes for all roles.
Development planning:
- Design frameworks and tools to support career pathing, succession planning, and leadership development.
- Facilitate career conversations and coaching initiatives across the organisation.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Collaborate with hiring managers and department heads to understand staffing needs and align recruitment strategies with business objectives.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
Employer Branding:
- Develop and implement employer branding initiatives to enhance the organisation\’s reputation.
- Leverage social media and other platforms to promote the employer brand and attract top talent.
- Comply with all GDPR Principles
Knowledge And Skills Required
- Previous Recruitment/HR experience
- Excellent computer skills, especially typing.
- Excellent Microsoft Package skills, including Outlook, Excel.
- Great listening skills
- Ability to multitask within busy constantly changing environment.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in talent development or recruitment, with a track record of successfully filling positions across various levels and functions.
- Strong knowledge of recruitment best practices, sourcing techniques, and candidate assessment methods.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret recruitment data and make data-driven decisions.
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment software.
- CIPD 5 or Equivalent Certification in Human Resources is desirable.
- Full UK Driving Licence {Essential}
