Smart Business Development: Opportunity to take a modern approach to minimise unnecessary travelling. While face-to-face meetings will not be off the table where needed, you will not be expected to travel for the sake of it.

You won’t be starting from scratch: You will inherit a selection of core customers giving you time to identify and secure new business in key high-margin sectors. Your role will be split between 60% new business and 40% account management.
Excellent Benefits & Remuneration: £50,000-£60,000, generous holiday allowance: 25 days plus bank holidays, 5% company pension contribution, quarterly profit share bonus, secure, long-term employment with ongoing investment in your development.
What you will be doing as the Business Development Manager:
- Lead and Develop: Lead the Sales and Customer Service teams to deliver peak performance.
- Account Management: Nurture and grow an existing portfolio of core customers.
- Drive Growth: Identify new business opportunities in key sectors and manage the sales pipeline.
- Project Leadership: Partner with technical and engineering teams to deliver bespoke customer projects.
- Data-Driven Insight: Analyse performance data and present strategic updates to key stakeholders.
- Brand Ambassadorship: Support marketing initiatives and represent the business at major industrial trade shows.
