  • Work closely with the Head of Purchasing to integrate retail media placements (e.g., in-store displays, digital placements, content partnerships) into broader commercial agreements with brand partners.
  • Support the negotiation process by identifying trade marketing opportunities that enhance brand partnerships and drive incremental revenue.

Campaign Performance & Reporting:

  • Monitor and analyse the performance of trade marketing campaigns, measuring impact on sales, customer engagement, and return on investment.
  • Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to senior management and brand partners to optimise trade planning and activations continuously.
  • Track, evaluate, and report on the effectiveness of brand investments in Sigma Sports’ media and activations.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with the Marketing Team to ensure trade plans are fully integrated into broader marketing and digital strategies.
  • Partner with the Buying, Merchandising, and E-commerce teams to ensure trade activations support commercial goals and drive product sell-through.
  • Ensure seamless execution of in-store and online campaigns, balancing commercial priorities with customer experience.

Customer-Centric Focus:

  • Ensure all trade marketing activities enhance the customer journey and drive engagement with Sigma Sports’ premium offering.
  • Balance the monetisation of retail media with maintaining a premium brand and in-store experience.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in trade marketing, go-to-market strategy, or a similar role within retail or a customer-focused business.
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience integrating marketing and retail media into commercial agreements.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to manage multiple internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience in campaign planning, product launches, and trade activations across online and offline channels.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to measure performance, assess ROI, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Passion for cycling and knowledge of the cycling or sports retail industry is a plus.
