We are looking for a skilled and motivated Electrician to join our growing Building Services team. This is a hands-on role involving installation, maintenance, testing and inspection works across a range of retail, commercial and fit-out environments nationwide. The successful candidate will be flexible, dependable and committed to delivering high standards of workmanship while working to project deadlines in fast-paced environments. Travel across the UK and working away from home will be required.
Main responsibilities:
- Carry out electrical installation works in commercial and retail premises in line with current regulations and company standards.
- Perform inspection, testing and fault-finding on electrical systems and installations.
- Complete maintenance and reactive repair work as required.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, specifications and wiring diagrams.
- Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently and in compliance with the latest regulations.
- Work collaboratively with site managers, subcontractors and other trades on-site.
- Complete all relevant certification and documentation accurately.
- Maintain tools, equipment and company vehicles in good condition.
- Support project delivery through overtime, weekend and night working where required.
- Represent the company professionally when working on client sites nationwide.
Knowledge and skills required:
- Strong technical knowledge of electrical installation, testing and fault diagnosis.
- Good understanding of health and safety regulations and safe systems of work.
- Ability to work independently and use initiative.
- Strong work ethic with a results-driven attitude.
- High level of drive, energy and commitment to quality standards.
- Good communication and relationship-building skills.
- Reliable, punctual and organised approach to work.

Qualifications:
- Relevant electrotechnical qualifications in Electrical Installation 18th Edition Requirements for Electrical Installations City & Guilds or 2394/2395 Inspection and Testing qualification (or equivalent).
- Completed recognised electrical apprenticeship.
- CSCS card preferred.
- Full UK driving licence preferred.
