Outline of role

Reporting to the Director, the Senior Marketing Manager will lead Sigma's marketing, brand and bid support strategy to meet commercial goals across Logistics, Building Services, Display and Project Solutions. Working with senior leadership, business development and operations, the role will strengthen Sigma's market position and support growth through bids and tenders.

Main responsibilities

  • Marketing Strategy & Leadership
    • Develop and deliver Sigma's annual marketing and communications strategy.
    • Act as Sigma's lead marketing adviser to Directors and senior stakeholders.
    • Align marketing activity with growth goals, sectors and strategic priorities.
    • Identify opportunities to strengthen Sigma's market position and advantage.
    • Manage budgets and maximise ROI.
    • Lead agencies, suppliers and consultants to deliver agreed outcomes.
    • Set KPIs and report performance to the SLT.
  • Bid Management & Tender Support
    • Lead bid, tender and proposal submissions.
    • Manage timelines, content and input to ensure compliant submissions.
    • Maintain bid content, case studies, credentials and support documents.
    • Work with key teams to create win strategies.
    • Support customer pitches and proposals.
    • Turn customer requirements into persuasive, commercially focused responses.
    • Maintain customer references, success stories and award submissions.
  • Brand Management
    • Own and maintain Sigma brand guidelines across the business.
    • Keep branded materials and templates current, consistent and accessible.
    • Support branding needs across the business.
  • Content Development
    • Produce case studies, blogs, web and social content.
    • Coordinate photography and briefs.
    • Manage videography and animation projects.
  • Marketing Collateral
    • Maintain brochures, presentations and pitch materials.
    • Create presentation templates and sales materials.
  • Digital Marketing
    • Develop digital campaigns aligned to lead generation objectives.
    • Implement automation and nurture campaigns where needed.
    • Monitor engagement and conversion metrics.
    • Identify digital trends and technologies to improve marketing capability.
    • Manage external agencies, suppliers and freelancers.

Knowledge and experience required

  • 5-7 years experience in a senior B2B marketing role.
  • Experience delivering marketing strategies.
  • Experience supporting bids, tenders and proposals.
  • Proven lead generation and revenue support experience.
  • Experience working with senior stakeholders.
  • Experience in logistics, retail solutions or business services.
  • Experience managing agencies and suppliers.
  • Success in brand development and positioning.
