We are looking for a skilled and motivated Electrician to join our growing Building Services team. This is a hands-on role involving installation, maintenance, testing and inspection works across a range of retail, commercial and fit-out environments nationwide.
The successful candidate will be flexible, dependable and committed to delivering high standards of workmanship while working to project deadlines in fast-paced environments. Travel across the UK and working away from home will be required.
- Carry out electrical installation works in commercial and retail premises in line with current regulations and company standards
- Perform inspection, testing and fault-finding on electrical systems and installations
- Complete maintenance and reactive repair work as required
- Work collaboratively with site managers, subcontractors and other trades on-site
- Maintain tools, equipment and company vehicles in good condition
- Support project delivery through overtime, weekend and night working where required
Strong technical knowledge of electrical installation, testing and fault diagnosis is essential, along with a high level of drive, energy and commitment to quality standards. Good communication and relationship-building skills are also important, as is a flexible approach to working hours and travel requirements.
Relevant electrotechnical qualifications in Electrical Installation are required:
- 18th Edition Requirements for Electrical Installations
- City & Guilds 2391-10 or 2394/2395 Inspection and Testing qualification (or equivalent)
- Completed recognised electrical apprenticeship
- CSCS card preferred
- Full UK driving licence preferred
