We are looking for a Site Manager. Number of Roles: 1 | Division: Project Solutions | Location: Castleford, Remote.

Outline of role: With assistance from the Project Manager, ensure that, from concept to completion, the pre-development and construction process is effectively, safely and efficiently managed.

Main responsibilities:

  • Ensure the Sigma PRIDE values are followed.
  • Ability to deliver through a team making sure they are driving for the best results.
  • Providing leadership for site staff.
  • For the adherence to the plan, specification and programme of works.
  • Review and Implement RAMS.
  • Prepare progress reports, monitor programmes and sign off quality documents.
  • Sign Employees timesheets and subcontractors onsite to ensure effective cost tracing.
  • Ensure that induction is rigorously carried out and records completed.
  • Identify causes of nonconformance on site, instigate action to control and prevent re-occurrence.
  • Liaise on a day-to-day basis with client and/or their representatives to resolve immediate issues, ensuring their needs are achieved and maintaining a professional approach.
  • To check maintain and ensure good standards of work and with clean working areas throughout site.
  • Any variations or extra works are recorded in detail and discussed with PM and QS.

Qualifications:

  • Full UK Clean Driving Licence.
  • SMSTS.
  • 3 Day First Aid Course.
  • UKATA Asbestos Awareness.
  • Fire Marshall.
  • CSCS Black Card.
  • NVQ Level 5/6.

  • Temporary Works.

  • IPAF.
  • SPA Passport.
  • IEMA Associate Certificate.
