The Opportunity Are you a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer/Mechanical Maintenance Technician who prefers solving root-cause issues rather than just \”patching\” machines?
We are looking for a hands-on Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join a specialist manufacturing site in Liverpool.

High Earning Potential: Up to £48,357 (including allowances) plus enhanced overtime rates.
Technical Ownership: You\’ll have a direct influence on the Preventive Maintenance Programme (PPM) and contribute to project work. What You\’ll Be Doing Working within a tight-knit engineering team, you will:
Maintain and optimise high-pressure systems, including pumps, valves, and regulators.
Lead mechanical project installations and equipment modifications.
Diagnose complex faults and implement long-term reliability fixes.
Collaborate with management to drive continuous improvement across the shop floor.What We\’re Looking For
Qualification: NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
Background: Solid experience in a manufacturing or heavy industrial environment.
Skillset: A proven track record with mechanical systems (pumps and valves are essential).The Package
Earnings: £20.50 – £22.90 per hour + £71/week allowance (£43k – £48k+ total).
Bonus: Two performance-related bonuses per year.
Time Off: 150 hours holiday + Bank Holidays.
