What You’ll Do as the Engineering Manager

As the Engineering Manager, you will lead the engineering and maintenance team, driving efficiency and maximising production uptime. Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Team Development – Leading, coaching, and mentoring a multi-disciplined team of engineers, technicians, and support staff.
  2. Technical Leadership – Providing expert advice on high-impact engineering projects.
  3. Health & Safety Leadership – Playing a key role in the company’s Health & Safety strategy and promoting a strong safety culture.
  4. Cost & Performance Optimisation – Managing budgets, monitoring cost-effectiveness, and ensuring resources are used efficiently.
  5. Continuous Improvement – Evaluating project outcomes and implementing changes to enhance performance and reliability.
  6. Strategic Growth – Creating career development programmes and planning for long-term engineering success.
  7. Project Delivery – Overseeing key projects to expand and enhance production lines, including contractor management and equipment selection.
