As Shift Manager, you’ll lead a team of production operatives, ensuring smooth and efficient shift operations. You’ll coordinate safety, quality, and output – while keeping costs and waste to a minimum.
Key Responsibilities- Lead shift operations across production, engineering, and quality
- Manage workflow, resources, and equipment to hit output and quality targets
- Communicate clearly with other Shift Managers to ensure seamless handovers
- Prepare and present detailed shift reports for senior management
- Champion a proactive health, safety, and environmental culture
- Drive CI projects and promote a high-performance mindset across the team
- Proven experience in shift or production management within manufacturing
- Strong knowledge of health and safety requirements
- Demonstrable experience with lean or continuous improvement practices
- Salary: £46,100 + £2,300 shift allowance
- Bonus: Up to 15%
- Benefits: 25 days holiday + 8 bank holidays, 5% pension, and cash healthcare plan
