We are looking for technical people who want to move off the tools into an Internal Sales Engineer position. Skills you already have include reading a drawing, spotting tolerances, understanding materials, and identifying what the customer actually needs. As an Internal Sales Engineer, you'll use that same knowledge to quote, process orders, and build the workshop job pack, without the early alarm or the overtime.

Working hours are Monday to Friday, with the option to finish at 4:30 pm on a shorter lunch, allowing your evenings to start earlier. Your salary, benefits & hours of work include:

  • Eligibility for an annual bonus
  • The office closes fully between Christmas and New Year
  • Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, or finish at 4:30 pm with a shorter lunch

As the Internal Sales Engineer, you'll be a key part of a small sales team, serving as the main point of contact for customers and suppliers alike. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Reading engineering drawings and building workshop job packs
  • Quoting from customer designs and material specifications
  • Processing orders and answering customer queries
