As a Principal Mechanical Design Engineer, you will act as the technical lead for specific product areas. You will lead the engineering delivery for high-value international projects, balancing hands-on design with high-level technical direction.
Lead Major Projects: Take technical ownership of complex mechanical systems from concept to commissioning, ensuring they survive in harsh environments.
Drive Design Quality: You will be "hands-on" with our design software, preferably "Creo", setting the standard for the team. You will champion "optioneering", exploring multiple engineering solutions before settling on the preferred one.
Mentor the Next Generation: We have a talented team of graduates and engineers whom you will mentor and guide. You will review their calculations, check their drawings, and help them develop into world-class engineers.
You will be a highly experienced Principal or Senior Mechanical Design Engineer who still enjoys hands-on design engineering.
- Extensive experience in the design of large mechanical equipment, for example, large moving structures, subsea systems or electrically actuated systems;
- Advanced 3D-CAD skills;
- Experience leading projects and mentoring junior staff.
