What you will be doing

As the mechanical maintenance technician, you will work as part of a days‑based maintenance team with a focus on delivery of planned maintenance and project/upgrade work while also providing breakdown support as needed. You will form part of a call‑out rota being on call roughly 1 week in 12; however, call‑outs are quite rare due to the capabilities of the shift teams.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably a heavy, industrial setting.
  • Time‑served apprenticeship in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience of maintaining equipment such as pumps, pneumatics, hydraulics, etc.
