Principal Responsibilities
- Ensure safety and wellbeing of all children in the care room.
- Lead age-appropriate activities and manage group dynamics.
- Communicate regularly with parents and handle emergencies.
- Plan and implement curriculum and hands‑on activities.
- Maintain records, paperwork, and a clean, organized space.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and the Center Director.
- Participate in ongoing training and outreach events.
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ year as a Center Director.
- Experience managing multi‑age groups.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education.
- Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or similar certification.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1+ year of experience as a Lead Teacher in a daycare or preschool.
- Knowledge of child development and age‑appropriate learning.
- Strong communication skills with children and parents.
- First Aid & CPR certification (can be obtained before start date).
