Role
- Provide support to the UK air quality and noise teams in delivering both projects and bids.
- Contribute to project execution through tasks such as desktop baseline studies, management of large datasets, and analysis of air quality and noise monitoring results.
- Experience in air quality and noise modelling would be beneficial.
- Assist with project delivery to ensure work is completed within budget, on schedule, and to the required quality standards while meeting or exceeding client expectations.
- Be willing to support the wider global business when workload demands require it.
- Help prepare and complete air quality and noise assessments.
- Carry out data analysis, handling, and interpretation.
- Prepare technical reports and supporting documentation.
- Use air quality and noise modelling software for technical assessments.
- Assist with the preparation of proposals, bids, and marketing materials.
- Take on additional duties and responsibilities as needed from time to time.
Qualifications & Experience
- Experience using GIS tools such as ArcGIS, QGIS, and Google SketchUp.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Access, and Word.
- Experience with acoustic modelling software such as SoundPLAN, \"CADNAβA\", IMMI, NoiseMAP, Predictor, Odeon, and INSUL.
- Mandatory UK experience.
- Experience with air quality modelling tools such as ADMS Roads and AERMOD.
- Strong understanding of UK assessment methods and British Standards related to noise and air quality.
- Highly motivated and committed to delivering quality work.
- Able to think creatively and with an entrepreneurial mindset.
- Strong writing skills with close attention to detail.
- A good team player with excellent time management abilities.
- Educational background in an environmental or science-based field, or in mathematics, acoustics, or physics, with the flexibility to support both air quality and noise teams.
