We are looking for a driven and enthusiastic kitchen Designer with the ability to inspire our customers with exceptional designs and pass on quality files to colleagues. The ability to form friendly relationships with customers is vital, as is the requirement to quickly develop your product, systems and design knowledge to deliver a professional service.
We expect the Design team in store to be a key driver of growth. You will need to quickly integrate into the store team, support each other, and help realise the wider store objectives.
- Design to the customers' brief and sell kitchens and bedrooms to customer satisfaction.
- Deliver the Sigma3 process from initial enquiry to completed installation and become proficient at all showroom processes and documentation.
- Be competent in various DESIGN, CRM and IT systems to ensure best practice and customer service.
- Develop an intimate knowledge of our furniture, its features and benefits, and how to sell it compared to competition offers.
- Establish technical information (e.g., location of stop-tap, gas and electric mains).
- Book the presentation of the design.
- Prepare for the presentation on return to the showroom.
- Design within customer budget.
- Engage with customers in the showroom initially to develop new sales opportunities.
- Develop relationships with local builders and architects and seek out new business relationships and opportunities.
- Create high-quality customer files to help the Installation Team manage the installation effectively.
Design and Sales Experience: Previous kitchen industry experience is highly desirable.
Strong commercial acumen with experience working in a customer-facing environment, ideally in retail or home improvement sectors.
CAD Design Experience: Familiarity with CAD software is advantageous, although training will be provided.
Problem-Solving Skills: Proven ability to identify and resolve issues swiftly and efficiently, ensuring smooth project delivery.
Driving License: A full UK driving licence is required, as travel to customer homes is an essential part of the role.

Competitive basic salary depending on skills and experience plus benefits package.
A realistic opportunity to earn an OTE between £41,000 and £71,000 based on sales performance.
