The Technology Directorate plays a vital role in supporting our charitable mission by leveraging technology to enable efficient operations, enhance service delivery, and drive innovation. Through strategic consultancy, delivery of transformational technology, and development of a positive technology culture, the Directorate enables sustainable organisational impact across both charities.
We are seeking a Technology Solutions Lead, to analyse organisational needs and design effective technology solutions that support strategic priorities across both charities. Reporting to the Head of Technology Change and operating within the Technology Change function, you will work closely with IT Operations, Change Delivery colleagues, suppliers, and organisational stakeholders to support technology transformation and service improvement initiatives.
The role is responsible for business analysis, project definition, solution design, and implementation planning activity to ensure technology solutions are accessible, secure, operationally sustainable, and aligned with organisational objectives prior to implementation delivery.
We are looking for an individual with strong experience in gathering, analysing, and prioritising organisational or business requirements across multiple stakeholders, and coordinating discovery, planning, or pre-implementation phases of technology or service improvement initiatives. You will have a proven ability to design technology solutions that enhance organisational effectiveness, service delivery, and user experience, while integrating with existing systems and infrastructure.
Proficiency in business analysis techniques, process mapping, and solution design methodologies is essential, alongside knowledge of accessibility standards, inclusive design, and security best practice. Experience in the not for profit or charitable sector, and empathy with the aims of Sight Scotland and Sight Scotland Veterans, would be an advantage.
