As an Account Manager, you will play a critical role in managing and growing Sigenergy’s installer and retailer customer base in the UK. You will be responsible for developing long-term relationships with existing customers, identifying new installer and retailer opportunities, and driving revenue growth in the region. This role combines structured account management with proactive sales execution to strengthen Sigenergy’s market presence at the channel and installer level.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct market research and analysis to understand installer and retailer market trends, competitor activities, and customer demand in the energy storage market.
  • Develop and execute account plans for installers and retailers, including customer segmentation, growth strategies, and regular follow-ups.
  • Actively engage with installers and retailers through on-site visits, meetings, and product presentations, requiring frequent domestic travel and occasional international travel.
  • Identify and onboard new installer and retail customers, expanding Sigenergy’s customer base in assigned territories.
  • Work closely with internal teams such as technical support, marketing, logistics, and customer service to deliver effective, customer-focused solutions.
  • Support pricing discussions, commercial negotiations, and contract execution with installers and retailers in line with company policies.
  • Track and report account performance, sales pipeline, market dynamics, and customer feedback to management.
  • Maintain a proactive sales approach to grow existing accounts, increase product penetration, and maximize revenue from installer and retail partners.

Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of sales or account management experience in solar PV, energy storage, or related energy fields; strong familiarity with the UK installer and retail market is required.
  • Established relationships with solar installers and energy retailers, with a proven ability to develop and grow customer accounts.
  • Demonstrated success in active sales, including customer acquisition, account expansion, negotiation, and contract management.
  • Willingness and ability to travel frequently within the UK and occasionally internationally for customer visits, partner meetings, and company events.
  • Strong communication and relationship management skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Solid market analysis and planning capability, with the ability to execute account growth strategies.
  • Good technical understanding and commercial awareness of solar PV and energy storage products.
  • Self-motivated, well-organized, and able to manage multiple accounts in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fluent in English.
