We are looking for a reliable and efficient Warehouse Operative to join our Maidstone team, helping us maintain our high standards of service, accuracy, and safety.

Responsibilities

  • Receive and store goods accurately in the correct locations within the warehouse/yard.
  • Prepare customer orders according to sales requirements and load them onto vehicles.
  • Sign for deliveries, report stock breakages, and maintain accurate stock records.
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and safe warehouse environment.
  • Carry out daily checks and maintain forklifts and other mechanical handling equipment in a safe working condition.
  • Promote a Everyone Safe, Every Day, culture by ensuring the safety of yourself and colleagues.
  • Build positive relationships with customers at the collection and returns point.
  • Be flexible and assist with stocktaking and overtime as required.

Qualifications

  • A valid Forklift Licence.
  • Good data accuracy, numeracy, and basic IT skills.
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety procedures.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or yard role is advantageous.
  • A flexible and adaptable approach with a can-do attitude.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
  • A customer-oriented mindset and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
