We are looking for a reliable and efficient Warehouse Operative to join our Southwark branch, helping us maintain our high standards of service, accuracy, and safety.
Responsibilities
- Receive and store goods accurately in the correct locations within the warehouse/yard.
- Prepare customer orders according to sales requirements and load them onto vehicles.
- Sign for deliveries, report stock breakages, and maintain accurate stock records.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe warehouse environment.
- Carry out daily checks and maintain forklifts and other mechanical handling equipment in a safe working condition.
- Promote a \”Everyone Safe, Every Day\” culture by ensuring the safety of yourself and colleagues.
- Build positive relationships with customers at the collection and returns point.
- Be flexible and assist with stocktaking and overtime as required.
Qualifications
- A valid Forklift Licence.
- Good data accuracy, numeracy, and basic IT skills.
- Strong knowledge of health and safety procedures.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or yard role is advantageous.
- A flexible and adaptable approach with a can-do attitude.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
- A customer-oriented mindset and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
