Job Description

SIG Plc is currently looking to recruit a Warehouse Operative who will undertake general warehousing duties on a daily basis. The role involves receiving, storage, picking and loading of stock to ensure efficiency and timeliness. You will assist with deliveries, unloading and loading of vehicles at the branch. The successful candidate will maintain a clean and safe working environment and adhere to the Zero Harm health and safety policy, undertaking duties to the highest and safest standards. The role requires enthusiasm, the ability to work well in a team and also to use own initiative. To be suitable for the role, you should have experience in manual handling and a good knowledge of safe working practices. A Forklift Licence is required.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure receiving, storage, picking and loading of stock is efficient and timely managed.
  • Assist with deliveries, unloading and loading of vehicles at the branch.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Adhere to the Zero Harm health and safety policy and perform duties to high safety standards.
  • Work effectively as part of a team or on own initiative and meet customer expectations.

Qualifications

  • Experience in manual handling.
  • Good knowledge of safe working practices.
  • Forklift Licence.
