As part of our continued growth, we\’re looking for a technically driven and commercially focused Branch Specification Manager – South to join our dynamic team
What’s the role?
This is a key role that blends technical expertise with strategic business development. You’ll engage early in the RIBA design stages to secure project specifications, working directly with architects, consultants, and contractors. From educational and residential builds to commercial and specialist projects, your influence will ensure CMS Danskin Acoustics is the go-to partner for sound insulation and acoustic solutions.
What you’ll be doing:
- Drive product and system specifications during key RIBA design stages (2–4)
- Build and maintain strong relationships with specifiers, consultants, and contractors
- Deliver technical CPDs and act as a trusted advisor throughout the design and tender process
- Track project opportunities via platforms like Barbour ABI and CRM systems
- Collaborate with internal teams to align product solutions with customer needs
- Work closely with marketing to support campaigns and drive brand awareness
- Report on project pipeline and conversion vs. targets
What you’ll bring:
- Proven experience in technical specification sales or project-led business development
- Strong knowledge of UK Building Regulations (. Approved Doc E, BB93, Scottish Tech Handbook)
- Familiarity with acoustic metrics (Rw, dLw, L’nT,w), systems and construction build-ups
- Confidence working with NBS platforms (Chorus, Source) and digital specification tools
- Strong communication and presentation skills, especially with CPDs and design teams
- Self-motivation and the ability to operate effectively in a mobile role
- A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationally
