Company Description: Sift is a leading B2B media and events business that has spent 30 years at the heart of the UK finance sector. We are currently scaling FAB.uk into the accounting profession’s premier event and digital platform. Following 100% year‑on‑year revenue growth in our flagship event, 2027 stands as a critical milestone. Our mission is to disrupt the market through high‑value experiences, curated audiences, and long‑term partnerships that deliver measurable outcomes far beyond traditional trade shows.

Role Description: As Sponsorship Manager, you will be the commercial architect behind our most significant partnerships. This is not just about selling floor space; it is about leading the commercial evolution of how brands interact with the accounting community. You will drive innovative, multi‑channel sponsorship solutions that blend live event presence with year‑round digital engagement via accountingWEB. Reporting to the Commercial Director, you will develop new products, pitch high‑value opportunities to mid‑market and enterprise clients and grow strategic accounts into long‑term, renewable revenue streams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Solution Design: Consult with senior stakeholders to understand their business challenges, then craft bespoke, integrated sponsorship packages (Digital + Event + Content).
  • High‑Value Pitching: Deliver persuasive, insight‑led presentations to C‑suite decision‑makers, showcasing ROI and long‑term value.
  • Revenue Growth & Retention: Manage the full sales cycle from initial outreach to closing, while ensuring a seamless handover to account management to maximize upsell and renewal potential.
  • Market Disruption: Stay abreast of industry trends to help develop new, "non‑traditional" sponsorship products that keep FAB.uk ahead of the competition.
  • Pipeline Excellence: Maintain a disciplined CRM (Salesforce) workflow, providing accurate forecasts for a business experiencing double‑digit annual growth.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Proven Track Record: 3+ years in B2B sponsorship, media sales, or high‑level partnerships with a history of closing high‑value deals.
  • Commercial Acumen: You don’t just sell features; you sell outcomes. You are confident leading complex, high‑stakes commercial conversations.
  • Collaborative Mindset: Experience working cross‑functionally with marketing, content, and operations teams to ensure client success.
  • Gravitas: The natural ability to influence stakeholders and navigate the procurement processes of mid‑to‑large corporate organisations.
  • Industry Knowledge: Prior experience in events, exhibitions, or B2B publishing is essential. Familiarity with the accounting/fintech landscape is a significant advantage.
