# Volunteering Opportunities (New for June ’26)**Job title: Volunteer****Reporting to: Corporate and Volunteer Lead****Location: 48-52 Allcock Street, Birmingham B9 4DY****Hours: Flexible****Date last updated: June 2026**Due to several volunteers recently being successfully recruited into paid positions here at SIFA Fireside, we are looking for a number of new volunteers to support us in the following exciting areas:**Shower Desk Coordinator** – Any morning during the week: 8:30am – 1pm (most needed!)**Kitchen Support Volunteer** – Assisting with preparing, serving and cleaning down after serving breakfast and lunch.

Any morning during the week: 8:30am – 1pm**Floor Support Volunteer** – Helping staff and clients on the floor, or helping in our clothing and food store.

Any morning during the week: 8:30am – 1pm**Sorting & Facilities Volunteer** – Sorting clothing and food donations, operating the laundry and any other general facilities support.

Any afternoon during the week: 12pm – 4pm**IT Support Volunteer** – Supporting clients in our IT suite (IT literacy essential).

Any morning during the week: 8:30am – 1pm**Reception Volunteer** – Supporting on our Business reception.

Any morning during the week: 8:30am – 1pm Please note: Prior to volunteering on reception or IT support you will be required to first help out with kitchen support to familiarise yourself with our clients and the centre.

As some of the roles are client facing, we would ideally require people who are good communicators and are sensitive to our clients’ needs.
