Job Title:Production Operative (Fabricator)
Location: Paignton
Hours of Work: Monday to Thursday: 06:30 – 17:00 Friday: 06:00 – 12:00
Job Purpose: To manufacture high-quality aluminium products on the production line for internal and external customers. Working as part of a small, skilled team, you’ll contribute to various stages of production while ensuring a safe, efficient, and high-standard working environment.
Key Accountabilities:
Operate within different sections of the production line, including cutting, routing, cleating, fitting, and glazing
Use power tools and aluminium fabrication machinery safely and effectively
Maintain high build quality and adhere to all production standards
Rotate between tasks to support team flexibility and cover absences
Follow all Health & Safety procedures, including manual handling guidelines
Work in alignment with company policies, operational standards, and Epwin’s core values
Foster positive working relationships with colleagues across the business
Role Requirements:
Experience in a manufacturing environment is advantageous, though not essential
Ability to use powered tools and fabrication equipment safely
Physically able to lift up to 25kg unaided
Solid multi-tasking skills with strong attention to detail
Effective problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced setting
