About us

  • At Sierra, we’re building a platform to enable every company in the world to build their own autonomous AI agents for everything from customer service to commerce. We are primarily an in-person company based in San Francisco, with growing offices in Atlanta, New York, and London.
  • We are guided by a set of values that are at the core of our actions and define our culture: Trust, Customer Obsession, Craftsmanship, Intensity, and Family. These values are the foundation of our work, and we are committed to upholding them in everything we do.
  • Our co-founders are Bret Taylor and Clay Bavor. Bret currently serves as Board Chair of OpenAI. Previously, he was co-CEO of Salesforce (which had acquired the company he founded, Quip) and CTO of Facebook. Bret was also one of Google\'s earliest product managers and co-creator of Google Maps. Before founding Sierra, Clay spent 18 years at Google, where he most recently led Google Labs. Earlier, he started and led Google’s AR/VR effort, Project Starline, and Google Lens. Before that, Clay led the product and design teams for Google Workspace.

What you\'ll do:

  • Campaign design. Build and execute UK-specific integrated marketing campaigns to drive brand awareness and support early pipeline. You’ll adapt global campaign frameworks for the local market and own end-to-end campaign planning, including tactics across paid social, digital advertising, out-of-home (OOH), email, and events. Experience tailoring messaging to CX buyers and industries and working with ABM-style personalization is a major plus.
  • Field marketing and events. With our SF-based events team, partner on the strategy and execution of 1–2 in-region events per quarter—from hospitality events to third-party conferences. You’ll own the UK event calendar, working across internal stakeholders and local vendors to deliver polished, high-impact experiences that deepen engagement with key accounts and buyers.
  • Cross-functional partnership. Work closely with our London-based sales team to support account engagement and pipeline. You’ll support territory-specific plays, and localize content for UK prospects. You’ll also partner with our SF-based campaigns, events, brand, creative, and ops teams to adapt content and track results.
  • Marketing generalist. This is our first UK marketing hire, so no task is too small or too strategic. You’ll own everything from briefing creative and securing venues to drafting copy and analyzing results. You’re excited to shape Sierra’s presence in the UK and thrive in ambiguity as we scale.

What you\'ll bring:

  • 7+ years of B2B marketing experience at high-growth SaaS or AI companies.
  • Experience in integrated campaigns and field marketing, with a strong grasp of multi-channel planning and execution.
  • Comfortable leading projects from strategy to execution—“soup to nuts”—with high attention to detail.
  • Experience managing external vendors (e.g., event producers, local contractors), and coordinating with agency partners managed by the SF team.
  • Strategic problem solver with strong analytical skills. Able to synthesize data into meaningful campaign insights and optimize strategies for new and existing initiatives.
  • Expertise in Salesforce and Hubspot and familiarity with web analytics tools, digital marketing and demand generation tools and vendors.
  • A strong understanding or previous experience marketing to our core-buyers (CX, IT, Product, Ops) and across key-industries (Retail, Media/Telecommunications, Financial Services, Travel + Hospitality).
  • Events experience is a major plus—you know what it takes to deliver a memorable, effective in-person experience.
  • Ability to build beautiful presentations using Google Slides and Keynote.
  • Launch a UK-specific brand awareness campaign leveraging digital, OOH, and PR—tailored for London-based CX buyers.
  • Coordinate with our paid-media agency to adapt a global paid media campaign to the UK audience and buying cycle.
  • Build and manage an email nurture track for new leads, working within our marketing automation platform.
  • In collaboration with the SF-based events team, plan and execute third-party events such as Customer Engagement Summit or Mobile World Congress. This includes everything from logistics and onsite presence to lead capture, with the goal being to drive brand-awareness and generate leads in the region.

Our values

  • Trust: We build trust with our customers with our accountability, empathy, quality, and responsiveness. We build trust in AI by making it more accessible, safe, and useful. We build trust with each other by showing up for each other professionally and personally, creating an environment that enables all of us to do our best work.
  • Customer Obsession: We deeply understand our customers’ business goals and relentlessly focus on driving outcomes, not just technical milestones. Everyone at the company knows and spends time with our customers. When our customer is having an issue, we drop everything and fix it.
  • Craftsmanship: We get the details right, from the words on the page to the system architecture. We have good taste. When we notice something isn’t right, we take the time to fix it. We are proud of the products we produce. We continuously self-reflect to continuously self-improve.
  • Intensity: We know we don’t have the luxury of patience. We play to win. We care about our product being the best, and when it isn’t, we fix it. When we fail, we talk about it openly and without blame so we succeed the next time.
  • Family: We know that balance and intensity are compatible, and we model it in our actions and processes. We are the best technology company for parents. We support and respect each other and celebrate each other’s personal and professional achievements.
