We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced SEO Account Manager to take ownership of client SEO strategies. This role is ideal for someone with advanced technical SEO expertise and a strategic mindset to help clients achieve their digital marketing goals.
Sierra Six Media is a digital marketing agency based in Billericay, Essex who deliver AI-first SEO strategies for clients across sectors including ecommerce, property, security, and hospitality. We're expanding our SEO team and looking for two experienced, client-focused SEO Account Managers. You'll play a key role in forging meaningful client relationships, leading strategy, and driving performance, supported by our talented in-house technical and creative teams.
This role requires at least two years of agency experience and someone who is ready to take ownership, set clear boundaries, and deliver results with confidence and accountability. What You'll Do- Lead day-to-day SEO strategy and delivery across your client portfolio
- Act as the key contact between clients and the delivery team, ensuring clear, consistent communication
- Translate client objectives into actionable tasks and measurable outcomes
- Confidently present ideas, challenges, and performance metrics both verbally and in written reports
- Manage client onboarding, setting expectations and ensuring smooth project initiation
- Create structured monthly touchpoints, follow-ups, and review calls
- Oversee keyword research, content strategy, and technical implementation with team support
- Work with SEO executives on reporting, data insights, and quarterly performance reviews
- Manage accounts systematically through HubSpot and internal processes
- Collaborate with PPC, Social and Development teams to deliver an integrated campaign
- Use your client entertainment budget to strengthen relationships and improve retention
- Contribute to overall SEO growth targets and departmental development
- Minimum two years of agency-side SEO Client Account Management experience (non-negotiable)
- Proven ability to manage and grow client accounts independently
- Confident communicator with excellent verbal, written, and face-to-face skills
- Comfortable setting boundaries and maintaining professional accountability
- Organised, structured, and able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Strategic thinker who thrives on delivering measurable results

SEO Account Managers typically spend around 80% of their time on client work and 20% on internal strategy, innovation, and process development. Candidates will have the opportunity of flexible working between the Billericay office and home.
