Role overview
As a Thermal Plastic Fabricator, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our manufacturing operations by expertly fabricating and assembling thermal plastic components used in high-performance aerospace and defence applications. Your craftsmanship and attention to detail will directly impact the quality and reliability of our products.
Key responsibilities
- Fabricate and assemble thermal plastic parts and components according to engineering drawings and specifications.
- Operate specialised equipment including heat guns, ovens, and vacuum forming machines to shape and join plastics.
- Inspect finished products for defects and ensure compliance with quality standards and tolerances.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve fabrication processes and resolve technical issues.
- Maintain accurate records of materials used, fabrication processes, and quality inspections.
