CAD Administrator

We are looking for a CAD Administrator to join us at SNC Mission Systems UK in St Athans. We providetailored mission systems integration and intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) solutions for the UK Government and its allies.

It's an exciting time to join us as a CAD Administrator as we are expanding our operations. You'll play a key role in supporting the wider production team by managing and maintaining CAD systems, ensuring efficient operation, accurate processing of data, and providing general administrative support.

Some of your responsibilities will include...

• Managing CAD data under configuration control
• Creating register of drawings for different variants
• Scanning and storing new part data with correct indexing and traceability
• Processing regular reports including scanning, logging and controlled filing
• Carrying out general office administration and support wider Production and Engineering team as required

We are looking for someone who is happy to get stuck in new projects and enjoys working with a team of motivated colleagues to achieve the needed outcomes. To qualify for the role, it is essential that you have...

• Experience with IMS systems
• IT skills and willingness to learn new software
• Excellent attention to detail

Ideally, you also have...

• Previous CAD experience
• Ideally previous Manufacturing experience
• Supporting implementation of new software

These restrictions mean that factors such as your nationality, any nationalities you may have previously held, and your place of birth can restrict the roles you are eligible to perform within the organisation. All applicants must as a minimum achieve Baseline Personnel Security Standard. Many roles also require higher levels of National Security Vetting where applicants must typically have 5 to 10 years of continuous residency in the UK depending on the vetting level required for the role, to allow for meaningful security vetting checks.
