Role Overview: The Distributor Sales Manager will grow Sierra Nevada\’s sales and market share by managing wholesale relationships and retail execution within their assigned area. They will collaborate with wholesalers and the national account team to meet Sierra Nevada standards and develop their local market team.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage assigned wholesalers and sales teams to increase sales and market share.
- Lead, motivate, and develop team members, including hiring and performance management.
- Execute retail strategies and promotional activities to ensure brand standards.
- Provide exceptional customer service to become the preferred supplier.
- Maintain proactive communication with stakeholders.
- Develop and execute business plans with wholesalers.
- Prepare weekly reports on business results and opportunities.
- Manage budgets, incentives, and co-op dollars.
- Conduct coaching sessions and communicate effectively using KARMA and other tools.
- Enhance team selling skills to meet sales objectives.
- Operate within brewery and budget guidelines.
- Coordinate with leadership on reports and pricing communication.
- Utilize sales tools effectively.
- Residency within Charleston, SC; Columbia, SC; or Greenville, SC is required.
Qualifications:
- Associate\’s Degree or equivalent experience; Bachelor\’s preferred.
- Minimum 3 years sales experience; alcohol industry experience preferred.
- 2+ years team leadership experience preferred.
- Knowledge of liquor laws required.
- Proven ability to meet sales targets.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to represent Sierra Nevada positively.
- Excellent personnel management skills.
- Desire for continuous learning.
- Ability to interact effectively with distributors.
- Driver\’s license without recent major violations.
