Working alongside our client, a leading injection moulding manufacturer, we are looking for a skilled Injection Moulding Supervisor to join their established team in support of continued business growth.

Remit:
This position will suit an experienced Injection Moulding Supervisor/Technician looking to further develop their leadership skills within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will have previous experience leading teams within an injection moulding operation, ensuring production, quality, and health & safety standards are consistently achieved. Candidates MUST HAVE demonstrable experience setting, conditioning, optimising, and troubleshooting injection moulding machines and processes.
Role:
The successful candidate will supervise the end-to-end injection moulding manufacturing process in line with company policies and procedures. You will be required to lead shop floor activities relating to Health & Safety, Quality, Production, and housekeeping standards. You will support setters and operators with process optimisation, tooling changes, troubleshooting, and production priorities to maintain plan adherence. You will be expected to investigate root cause of quality concerns, scrap, downtime, and H&S incidents, implementing corrective and preventative actions. Drive KPI improvements including cycle times, rejects, downtime reduction, SMED, 5S, and overall machine efficiency. Ensure all process documentation including setting sheets, work instructions, and quality records are maintained and updated correctly. Train, mentor, and develop operators and setters to ensure compliance with manufacturing, quality, and safety procedures. Manage shift handovers, labour allocation, and production planning to ensure smooth day-to-day operation of the department.
Experience Requirements:
- Previous experience within an Injection Moulding Setter/Supervisor or Process Technician position.
- Strong understanding of injection moulding processes, tooling, process control, and quality standards.
- Experience leading teams within a high-volume manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of continuous improvement techniques including Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and SMED.
- Good communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem solving and continuous improvement.
