our client, a successful injection moulding manufacturer, we are looking for an experienced Extrusion Setter to join their established team. . Role: Strip, clean and rebuild the machinery and perform start up processes. To ensure minimal down time by monitoring the line and trouble-shooting/solving any issues Where problems are more complex, to alert site management and work with them to resolve the issue (which may include external resource) To oversee monitoring and loading of new material, identifying correct mix of materials for product Continuously monitor product quality, adjusting processes and/or material mix to ensure quality thresholds maintained. To oversee the work of Operators, providing support and instruction where needed To work within guidelines and maintain a safe and tidy working environment. To cover for colleagues and support the wider team as needed. Experience: The ability/skill to run a production line from start to finish, including day-to-day maintenance of the machinery, including the following technical skills: line setting LLDPE including coilers, Zumbach setting, PB rewind setting, Printing set up The ability/skill to be able to learn additional operating procedures, such as BPEX line setting and BPB including coiler, Printing cartridge changes, Ink nozzle alignment.
