Remit:
- This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled Injection Moulding Technician to secure position with a forward-thinking company going through an exciting time of growth and transition
- Successful candidates will have demonstrable experience within injection moulding manufacturing with good mould setting and processing skills.
Role:
- As Injection Moulding Technician you will be required to perform mould set ups and changes in an efficient manner according to the production schedule
- Responsible for moulding machine set up including ancillary equipment as related to the moulding process
- Process moulding parameters to achieve quality parts and optimized cycle times
- Use troubleshooting skills to improve and develop repeatable moulding processes
- Assist the maintenance department within this process on technical issues as they arise
- Support and complete tool trials
- Perform all duties in a safe, non-hazardous manner in compliance with safety standards
Experience:
- Previous mould Setting & Optimisation experience within injection moulding manufacturing is ESSENTIAL
- Experience of process problem solving within an injection moulding environment
- Industry recognised injection moulding qualification would be an advantage
- Basic level of Numeracy and Literacy is required
- Good communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Positive can-do attitude
