Job Overview:Working alongside our client, a leading injection moulding manufacturer, we are looking for 2x Injection Moulding Setters to support continued business growth.

Remit:
- As an Injection Moulding Setter you will be responsible for ensuring production continues in line with the production plan whilst ensuring and maintaining the quality standards of the products. You will be operating autonomously ensuring the products are process to the standards required by the companys customers.
- This position will suit a skilled Injection Moulding Setter with proven experience performing tool changes, setting mould machines and optimizing processes
Responsibilities:
- As injection moulding setter you will carry out tool changes effectively and safely in the injection moulding areas of the business.
- In the role of injection moulding setter you will be required to ensure the continuous running of the machines at optimum cycle time to produce quality products.
- To be able to work well within the technical injection moulding setting, processing & optimisation team.
- To carry out tool and material trials
- Basic machine maintenance and trouble shooting
- To ensure injection moulding processes can achieve targeted scrap and efficiency levels, on new and existing products.
- To drive continuous improvements ensuring product quality is maintained & good working practices are adhered to.
- To liaise with all members of the department to ensure operations run smoothly
- To ensure Health & Safety rules are maintained with your own work area and demonstrate a duty of care to colleagues, visitors, contractors or anyone else on site.
Experience Requirements:
- Industry recognised injection moulding qualification or 5 years industry experience
- Previous experience in setting plastics moulding machinery and operation (typically 60T-500T)
- Experience and knowledge of ancillary equipment
- Knowledge of hot runner systems and set up
- Knowledge of various thermoplastic materials and processing parameters, typically PA, PP, HDPE, PC/ABS, etc
- Problem solving and resolution through root cause analysis, with experience of quality inspection processes
- Strong attention to detail & IT literate
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Forklift capability (pedestrian stacker or FLT)
