Working exclusively with our client, an established injection moulding manufacturer, we are looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join their team during an exciting period of sustained business growth.

This position will suit a skilled Maintenance Engineer looking to secure a days position with the opportunity to be the lead of the plant & facilities maintenance onsite.
You will have strong electrical/mechanical applications with proven experience of working within a structured maintenance programme whilst dealing with day-to-day breakdowns, faults and repairs.
As Maintenance Engineer, you will perform the day-to-day mechanical and electrical maintenance of plant equipment to include injection moulding machinery and associated ancillary equipment, ensuring continuity of production, consistent with the company’s goals and needs.
In the role of Maintenance Engineer you will be responsible for:
- Fault finding and repair of electrical/mechanical faults that occur on plant machinery and equipment
- Assisting with the maintenance programme for all plant and/or equipment (hydraulics, robots, ancillary machines, automatic assembly)
- Validating new plant equipment, automation and upgrades
- Process/equipment troubleshooting and failure analysis
- Ensuring all items of plant and/or equipment are in good safe working order
- Striving to improve the efficiency and safety of plant and equipment
- Maintaining a high standard of record keeping for all repairs and servicing of plant and/or equipment as required for audit, traceability and warranty purposes, in accordance with the Quality Management System
Requirements:
- Demonstrable maintenance experience within injection moulding or other plastics manufacturing disciplines
- Minimum 3 years hands-on experience in mechanical and electrical engineering/maintenance
- A good working knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics and electronic/electrical automation controls
- Experience of Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM)
- Experience of reactive maintenance
A current copy of a passport, driving licence, ID card or NI card will be required as part of the registration process.
